Summary:
• Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of microbial fermentation processes utilizing standard fermentation methods including batch and fed batch
• Monitoring and analyzing expression of target proteins
• Standard harvest and recovery methodologies including centrifugation and tangential flow filtration
• Technology transfer and assist in maintaining the laboratory
• Other responsibilities will include generation of development batch records, product reports and other forms of documentation.

Requirements:
• 5 years of related experience
• BS or a Masters degree in microbiology or an undergraduate degree in biochemical or chemical engineering or equivalent
• Experience in microbial fermentation required
• Ability to operate and sample fermentor and downstream equipment for centrifugation, microfiltration, and utrafiltration is required
