1985 Wellcraft Nova 2 with two Mercruiser 300 HP Tempest engines. The trailer is a 1988 Load Rite 27T8000 Model. The boat was purchased by a dealer in 1996 with the intention of having both engines rebuilt. The boat's engines were both running when purchased but the dealer wanted to sell engines with warranties. One engine was rebuilt by Jasper in 1999 but the second engine was never rebuilt because the dealer decided to close the business and sell the property. The boat was shrink wrapped and stored in the year 2000 and never unwrapped until now. The rebuilt engine has no hours on it and the other engine is just as it was 23 years ago. The drives were in good working condition when the boat was stored. Both engines turn using the starter but that is as far as I intend to go mechanically. I'm not the mechanic and I realize there is a lot of work ahead after a boat has been sitting for 23 years and I just don't have the time. Unfortunately, last winter tree branches fell on the boat's front deck damaging the plexiglass center of the deck hatch. I'm hoping that may be an easy replacement. More serious damage was done to the side window which was broken and to the window frame which was damaged. I know the aluminum window frame can be straightened but it will take someone with skill such as an auto restoration Professional. Some of the vinyl needs repair or replacement as you should be able to see in the photos. I removed numerous cushions from the cabin and they cleaned up beautifully. I have them stored in a separate building. I have not had the time or energy to clean the cabin itself but the upholstery Wellcraft used responds surprisingly well to cleaning solutions. This is an "AS IS" sale of a damaged boat and I will accept the best reasonable offer. The boat is located in Audubon and I am available most days and weekends.
