These classic vessels, which often feature a tapered, "haystack" or pear shape, were historically used in Irish and English taverns for dispensing and serving ales, ciders, and porters.
This one was made in England in the early 1900s and has decorative marks on the bottom a shield, dragon, rampart lion, and sword symbols.
