Overview-
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service while fostering a positive work environment. This individual will also lead the line as an expediter while also needing to cook on the line when busy.
Duties-
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage food production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize waste and control costs.
Create menus & specials.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
Experience-
Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within a casual food restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
Experience in coffee preparation is desirable but not mandatory.

Kitchen Manager Shifts include:
Possible Weekend Days or Nights
Dinner: 5pm until close (12 weekday; 2am weekend)
Swing Shift: 11 am until 8pm, provides management coverage for lunch & dinner shift
A typical workweek will be 50-60 hours and will include a schedule that contains five days of a variety of the above listed shifts
Restaurant Management is a plus
