1997 Squier Affinity Strat with Full sized alder body. In good condition. For a 27 year old guitar it is pretty decent. I originally bought it and was going to just use the body for a project but after playing it, I didn't want to take it apart. Neck is awesome in my opinion. Wider nut at 43mm, and plays smooth. Original pickups sounded nice and straty when I got it home and plugged it in, but it got very staticky and stopped producing sound. Opened it up and saw that wires from switch and pot were pretty bad. Some were disconnected. Instead of resoldering wires I just went with prewired Musiclily ceramic pickups, pots, and switch. (Will provide original pickups, pots, and switch if wanted.) After replacing pickups I wasn't able to get 2nd ground wire from pots to solder to trem claw. Soldering iron I own is not hot enough. Just have it taped up to claw. Output jack is grounded and sounds fine as is. Pickup route has been lined with shielding foil. Also, the bottom tone knob for the the middle and bridge pickups works more like a volume knob then tone, but when the switch is up for middle and neck pickup the tone knob works fine. Volume functions as should. All pickups work and switch works as should. Not original owner. Only history is of what I did. Again, in good condition, and very solid, but does have a few dings, dents and a chip on the lower front of the body. I believe all are pictured. Hope all is great. Any questions, just ask. $115.
