This listing features a 1951 SBA tri-pack alto sax case. The case retains its beautiful, original vintage factory-installed interior, which remains in excellent condition. A small section of the purple material on the hinge area has been replaced; however, this minor repair does not detract from the overall appeal or authenticity of the interior.
The case is free from any unpleasant odors, rips, or tears. It includes a single zipper that can close the case completely. While the zipper does function as intended, it can be somewhat difficult to return to its original position. To assist with this issue, a pin has been placed at the juncture where the zipper tends to catch, located halfway around the case in the vicinity of the carry handle.
An original clarinet case is also included with this offering.
If you own an SBA alto saxophone but lack the original case, this is a wonderful opportunity to acquire an authentic, well-preserved case that will enhance and protect your instrument.
Please note, this case is for sale without the saxophone.
