As part of Fender's limited “10 for '15” series, this model immediately makes a luxurious impression. The model comes in a classic Olympic White high-gloss finish and Blackguard pickguard, which is aesthetically complemented by the oversized mother-of-pearl inlays in the beautifully grained rosewood fingerboard. The exceptional appearance is rounded off by a 6-piece vintage bridge with string guidance through the body and shiny chrome/nickel hardware.
Instead of the otherwise proven two singlecoils, two Fender Twin Head Vintage humbuckers – one with a chrome cover at the neck and one without at the bridge – deliver loaded, powerful double-coil sounds with clear articulation that feel particularly at home in the rock genre.
Fender Deluxe Cast Sealed tuners also provide excellent tuning stability and, thanks to the pleasantly slim Modern “C” shaped neck profile, the guitar is a dream to play over all 22 medium jumbo frets.
